Rock a jacket.

When you begin to explore the fashion niche that is bridal "cover ups", you start to hear very scary, dowdy words like "shrug" and "bolero." (Shudder)

Unless your 65 or a matador, you shouldn't really buy something called a "bolero"!

Very trendy for alternatives for brides include a black biker jacket, a vintage fur stole, or a military inspired wool blazer.

Some of my favorite bridal "cover ups" lately:

Neoclassical blazer by Anthropologie: 115 euro.

Golden Fleece Bolero (yes, they're calling it a bolero which makes me a hypocrite, but it this is the ONE. EXCEPTION.) by Taikonku at Anthropologie: $150.
Vintage fur stole by Gabriella New York: $595.

Feather capelet by Cassin, at Bergdorf Goodman: $1,240.
