Ou est la plage?

An impressive collection of vintage dresses, bags, and shoes from south-of-France based Irish etsy seller dandeliondaydreamer.

Best bit: the clothes are in some seriously realistic sizes for once, ranging from UK sizes 10-16 (US sizes 4-10).

Hello honeymoon.

I'm thinking tiny coffees and big sunglasses.

Dior.

The Spring 2011 Christian Dior haute couture collection had a decidedly Japan-glam-in-the-40's feel, with bright east Asian reds and classic Hollywood styling.

But it was this confection that took my breath away...

Damn.

Sold out? No big shit.

I know you are sad that you cannot spend $2,600 on this dress by Jason Wu, as it's sold out.

But personally, I'd go to Dirty Fabulous and get this one for a few hundred euro... spend an extra few quid on a black ribbon and a crinoline underskirt. Bam!

Chanel.

The Spring 2011 collection from Chanel Haute Couture by Karl Lagerfeld plays with the restraint of soft ballerina colours and classic Chanel tailoring, whilst really pushing the boat out with some serious disco sparkle and some mega-princess tulle.

And all of it SO. WEARABLE. It's all about the demure crew necks, I think... you can be covered in diamonds and rosettes, but top it off with little cap sleeves and a modest neckline, and you can wear it to the library without raising eyebrows.

Fruits of the sea.

Laragh McMonagle, jewelry designer based in seaside Dublin suburb Blackrock, is obviously very inspired by the shit that washes up on the beach... in an absolutely BEAUTIFUL way.

Lie Down I Think I Love You - pt. 2.

Can you imagine anything you'd rather see on your desk on a Monday morning?

My pretty leather wedding purse, straight from Lie Down I Think I Love You in London.

This is the beginning of a life-long affair.

Down in the dress dumps.

I had a very under-whelming wedding dress fitting this morning. I came out thinking "does this thing flatter me at all?", and more importantly, "will I fall and break my nose if I try to dance in it?"

Is this a natural part of the process? Or am I being fickle? Or should I throw it in the bin and start again?

Your wedding jewelry.

STUNNING pieces by British jewelry designer Ruth Tomlinson.

With a very distinctive style, her jewelry manages to be raw and asymmetrical, and yet still feels feminine and delicate.
